Community Partner questions.

Does it cost anything to become a Community Partner?
No. There is no cost to apply or participate in the Founding Community Partner program.
Are partners required to promote QueerFriends?
There is no advertising requirement. We simply ask partners to share QueerFriends when they believe the platform and Founding Member opportunity would benefit their community.
Can our organization promote events?
Yes. Event visibility through What’s Happening is one of the program’s main benefits. Additional organization tools will be introduced as QueerFriends grows.
What is Creative Spotlight?
Creative Spotlight highlights LGBTQ+ artists, performers, creators, volunteers, nonprofits, leaders, and community initiatives. Partners may suggest people, projects, and stories for consideration.
Can national organizations apply?
Yes. QueerFriends welcomes local, regional, statewide, and national organizations whose work aligns with our mission.
Can we leave the program later?
Yes. Participation is voluntary, and an organization may request removal from the program at any time.
